Františkovy lázne is a place with natural curative resources that makes the spa unique and irreplaceable. There is a lot mineral springs with a high content of carbon dioxide, sulphur-ferrous fen bogs and natural seepage of carbon dioxide. All these natural resources are used in their original state to treat women´s diseases, diseases of the locomotive organs and cardio-vascular diseases. Františkovy lázne lies on the west part of the Czech republic. The surrounding flat tearrain offers numerous options for walking, cycling and other activities. The local natural curative resources are successfully combined with modern curative methods to lower the difficulties experienced by patients with degenerative or inflammatory diseases of their locomotive organs. Therapeutic procedures based on natural resources: carbonic baths, gas baths, gas injections, mud treatments, mud baths, mud packs, mud vaginal tampons. The spa offers local cultural events, sightseeing round the town, local landmarks. The town and its surroundings have the ideal ground for short and long distance walking trips. The most popular destinations round the town are: Karlovy Vary, Mariánske lázne, Praha, Loket Castle, Kynžvart, Teplá, Doubrava, Seeberg Castle and the nature reservation SOOS. The hotel*** and its annexes Máj and Otava lie in the very center of the spa. The total capacity of all three buildings is 56 single and 108 double rooms. Most rooms have new bathrooms, satellite TV, radio, telephone and refrigerator. Most rooms in the Otava building are not ensuite but they come at very reasonable prices. All guests have their meals in the hotel in five modern dining rooms. Buffet-style brekfast is served. There is a choice of five main courses for lunch and dinners. Diabetic and vegetarian meals are available on request. The U Fausta Restaurant, renowned for its cuisine, and Café markétka, offering their own sweets. The main building houses doctor´s surgeries, all day medical service and some of the procedures- massages, electro treatments, magnetic therapy, gas injections, paraffin treatment, oxygen therapy, group and individual exercise sessions in the newly refurbished gym. The nearly neighbourhood offers various cultural possibilities – theatre, music, dancing. The price of accomodation includes accomodation with breakfast. The price of a relaxation stay includes 7x accomodation, full board, initial and leaving medical examination, procedurs. The price of a curative stay (min. 7 days ) includes accomodation, full board, initial and leaving medical examination, curative 3-4 procedures daily.
