Spa Luhačovice is the largest Moravian Spa. Due to the Luhačovice Spa curative springs combined with the latest treatment and rehabilitation methods it is possible to treat successfully the disorders of locomotive organs, diseases of respiratory tract, diabetes, diseases of digestive tract as well as blood circulation diseases. Luhačovice lies in the southeastern part of the Czech republic, nearby the town of Zlín. Surrounded by the densely wooded slopes of the White Carpathian Mountains, it is situated in the valley of the small and quiet Štávnice river. The healing mineral springs of the luhačovice Spa rank among the Europe´s most effective ones. Medical treatments follow an individually compiled treatment schedule consisting of a drinking cure, balneotherapy and physiotherapy, the movement therapy and an individual dietary programme.The Luhačovice Spa offers its guests also an extensve cultural life, including the celebration of the springs opening, music festivals, performances at the Spa Theatre, or colonnade concerts. As to the sports lovers, they can choose from tennis courts, a fitness centre, bowling, marked cycling routes, a golf course in the town of Zlín, or hiking on many marked footpaths in the surroundings. In the environs of Luhačovice, you can visit castles, chateaux, indoor and open-air museums, and other sights, as well as wine cellars in the legendary Moravian wine-growing region.
